To help individuals build response agility and shift from friction to flow, try a practical six-step framework called SCULPT:
- Stop → Pause the reactive cycle. Use breathwork or grounding techniques to calm the nervous system.
- Connect → Reconnect with your highest, most effective self—the version of you who shows up with empathy, clarity, and purpose.
- Understand → Identify what’s happening internally (emotions, sensations) and externally (environmental triggers).
- Listen → Tune into your intuition and inner wisdom. What’s the right next step?
- Process → Reflect and analyze from a place of calm, rather than react impulsively.
- Take Action → Make decisions and take steps from a grounded, empowered state.
SCULPT helps rewire the brain for resilience. With practice, you can complete the process in as little as 90 seconds. It might take a little longer in the beginning, but keep practicing.
